Reef Smart dives into apparel

Reef Smart has launched a line of apparel in partnership with Vapor Apparel and Altered Latitudes.

The new product-line is being called “The Shipwrecked” series, and will initially feature three of the most iconic wrecks from Reef Smart’s portfolio: KITTIWAKE (Grand Cayman), CAPTAIN KEITH TIBBETTS (Cayman Brac) and the wreck of the German U-boat, U-352 (North Carolina). The designs, which are printed on solar microfiber shirts and rash guards, launched last week at Florida’s Surf Expo 2020 in Orlando and received a great reception. The initiative is starting as a business-to-business venture, and may well transition to a direct-to-consumer model in the near future. Reef Smart has already had requests for new designs, so expect to see Barbados and Florida wrecks appearing on shirts in the near future.
