This week, Ian Popple, Reef Smart’s managing director, and Ocean Education International founder, Dr. Alex Brylske, joined The World in Île de le Reunion for the start of a two-week educational expedition through the Indian Ocean.
Reef Smart launches Indian Ocean expedition with The World
The World is the world’s largest private mega-yacht. Reef Smart has put together a comprehensive educational experience for The World that includes diving and snorkeling in five different islands, on-board talks, and PADI dive training. Divers and snorkelers will experience reefs and wrecks in Île de le Reunion, Mauritius and several islands in the Seychelles archipelago, as well as in-class and in-water training sessions and onboard lectures about the marine creatures and ecosystems of the Indian Ocean.
