Rapa Nui is a purposefully sunk barge that overturned as it sank. It was carrying Polynesian moai sculptures intended to act as an artificially reef, but the sculptures were largely crushed under barge as settled on to the seabed in an upside-down position. The card features:
- 3D-rendered images of the overturned barge along with a close-up detail of the few sculptures salvaged after the sinking
- A brief description of the project and what happened
- Important depth information and a suggested route for the wreck
- Images of commonly found species in Florida to help your identification efforts during your in-water experience
