Pat’s Wall is a deep wall dive located in the southeast corner of Grand Cayman’s East End. It is one of five adjacent sites known collectively as the “corner sites.” Pat’s Wall is suitable for divers of all experience levels, although currents can be moderate to strong at times and the sites is quite deep, with the top of the wall averaging around 50 feet (15 meters) depth. This site is named after Patricia Schaar, who was the manager of the Cayman Diving Lodge, which closed back in the 1980s. The main features of this site are the deep channels that extend from the top of the reef out to the drop-off. Rather than a continuous reef wall, the seaward edge of Pat’s Wall alternates between towering spurs and steep-walled canyons.
