Rio Miami

Rio Miami was a tugboat that was sunk as an artificial reef on November 28, 1989. She sits upright on a sandy seabed at a depth of 75 feet (23 meters), with a list to her starboard side. The wreck forms part of the Miami Beach Wreck Trek.

Rio Miami was originally a 105-foot (32-meter) tugboat, which operated out of Miami, New York, Puerto Rico and Jacksonville. She was sunk as an artificial reef on November 28, 1989. The tug sits upright on a sandy seabed at a depth of 75 feet (23 meters), with a list to her starboard side. The wreck forms part of the Miami Beach Wreck Trek. Rebar stakes lead off the bow to the wreck of the Paraiso III and off the stern to the Dema Trader.
