Sometimes referred to as McKenny’s Wall, this site is named after Jack McKenny – author, filmmaker and member of the Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. This section of reef wall is pristine, supporting hard corals, gorgonians and black corals. The reef also features multiple canyons with swim-throughs, many of which lead out to the drop-off. Divers have a decent chance of seeing Caribbean reef sharks, eagle rays and sea turtles at this site. Dives usually begin in the large sandy area adjacent to the mooring and head towards the wall by following the canyon at the site’s western edge. There is a tunnel here that forks twice, as well as two chimneys that plummet into the reef substrate. This is a dive that everyone asks to do more than once!
