Behavior:

Rock hinds are solitary fish that inhabit rocky reefs. They are found along much of the Western Atlantic coastline from New England, in the U.S. to southern Brazil. They primarily hunt crabs and shrimp, but also small fish, including blennies. They are a popular food fish, hunted across much of their range.

Predators:

Sharks grouper and mackerel.
