Behavior:

Grey angelfish are often seen swimming in pairs as they are known to form long-term, monogamous breeding pairs. They are recognizable by their gray-brown bodies and pale gray-white mouths. They frequent coral reefs, feeding on sponges, tunicates, hydroids, algae and sometimes seagrass.

Predators:

Large grouper and sharks.

Did you know?

Both the Grey Angelfish and the French Angelfish have been found as far north as New England in the USA and as far south as Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Both species have also been recently introduced to Bermuda.
