This shore-accessible dive and snorkel site can be reached directly from the beach at the northern end of the bay, which is free to enter. The wreck is located at the southern end of the bay – a distance of approximately 570 feet (174 meters) from the beach. Tugboat Curaçao, and its adjacent reef and wall, is one of the most popular sites in the whole of Curaçao. The shallow sandy plateau ranges in depth from about 15 to 20 feet (4.5 to 6 meters). The wreck itself is only 6 feet (3 meters) beneath the surface in some places, which makes it ideal for exploration by both divers and snorkelers. Tugboat is also a great night-diving spot.
